Bank Rule Change? (Clearing combat before defuse)

Recently tried to rob the bank.... had 6 guys vs 5 cops....

 

The bank is almost impossible to rob as the cops just storm the front door with their hunters and striders, clear the building and defuse the bomb without clearing the other 4 people around the bank....

Especially when the cops can continuously break NLR due the the ratio... we also managed to pick lock a hunter but the game would not let any of us to enter and leave after the bomb was defused.... dont you think cops should value their lives instead of charging in because they know they only have to land 1 shot... i think the cops should have to be certain the area is clear before defusing as its more fair to the rebels who already have a disadvantage as they have to hit a high ranking officer 4-6 times..... defusing after area is clear gives all the rebels the chance to defend not just sit in one room and get sprayed down.... because cops just charge in and its over.....

Heh .. 

Impossible to do bank? We do it with three people some times.

Man, judging by your post, you're missing a lot of information on how combat with cops work, calling rebels disadvantaged lol, because rebels can't buy every weapon and armed vehicle in the game while cops are limited to what their rank is allowed?

Not to mention they can't break NLR over and over.. Check the NLR rules.

Sorry but do some research before making suggestions because you're way off.

Range, don't let them get close.. The further they are from you, the more shots it takes to stun you, so position yourselves correctly.

Also stun armour, wont save you at close range, but is a life changer over long range. There is also buffs to stun armour by wearing advanced armour (Craftable), 25% extra armour by being fully aligned to the crafting guild and then there is 50% extra stun armour by playing in realistic mode.

Remember you are the team defending, you get to pick your own positions while the cops are stuck just trying to find you and/or defuse the C4.

but thats the thing positioning doesnt matter because they just charge straight in and defuse and worry about rebels after...... kind of hard to land 5 shots on 2 different cops from the time they get out thier hunter and get to the bomb through the front door......

use vehicles to delay entrance through doorways..  position counter attacks who's job it is is to neutralise entrance ways.   Try IEDs.   There are many many different ways to do it.

Hows it hard? 

Block a door off with a vehicle

Have someone inside to shoot at and distract the cops while someone on the outside shoots the cops

Use IED's to slow them down

Use grenades to blow them to pieces

Use an RPG to blow up their vehicles

Don't let them drive into the bank (Rocket, IED, Shoot the driver)

 

Ya know? Just a few ideas, my personal favorite is an rpg, nothing like some well cooked ham!

No offence but the charge works well with uncoordinated rebel teams, For example when 666 do bank we never just charge in due to the fact there communications, entry positions, there own positions and there arsenal of weapons (That all rebels have access to) make it very difficult for us unless we pick some off. Allot of it comes down to how well organised your team is when you start the bank, if none of you are in the bank building and do not have the correct positioning we cops will take that for granted and do the good old Cavalry charge in and set up defense while 1 defuses. By you posting this no offence however it seems you are trying to place the blame not on yourselves but on police efficiently doing there jobs. I suggest you have a chat with your team and try different ways of doing bank and try to learn the way the police force works, the key points that are essential to have someone placed on to stop the charge.

Not to mention the 52 houses in telos that overlook the bank where you can position snipers.   One last tip thats most critical.  Rob it when the cop numbers are at the bare minimum required to do the bank. Hush i never told you this.  Bloody damn chopper comming out of me again.
